Itinerary

Day01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Sawasdee Nepal team will officially greet and meet you at Airport & transfer you to Hotel. You will have leisure time, followed by an evening welcome dinner at a typical Nepalese Restaurant. Overnight in Kathmandu (1,350m).

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara (800m.), then drive to Hile (1,948m.), and trek to Ulleri
Kathmandu Pokhara flight is short and offers aerial views of both cities along with beautiful mountains and green hills. From Pokhara, you will drive to Hile in a private vehicle. The trek begins from here. The route ascends through dense forests of rhododendron to Ulleri.

Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani (2750m)- 9 km 4-5 hrs
From Ulleri, you will ascend through dense forest and reach Nanghethani (2,460m). Mountains like Fishtail, Hiunchuli, Annapurna, and many others are seen along the way. Further, you will trek for one more hour through the rhododendron forest to Ghorepani village.

Day 4: Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2600m.)
Wake up early and hike to Poon Hill, following a well-made trekking route. Poon Hill is a famous viewpoint in the lower Annapurna region if you wish to see a gorgeous sunrise and mountain all around you. Snow-capped peaks like Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Fishtail, Tukuche, etc are visible from this place.
Later, descend to Ghorepani and begin trekking towards Tadapani after having breakfast. Walking through the lush forest, you will reach Banthanti (2,606 m). The trail then gradually ascends to Tadapani, following a steep forested path.

Day 5: Trek to Landurk via Ghandruk, 10 km
The day begins early, and you will start trekking following green woods. Walk by small settlement areas and reach Ghandruk village. It is a beautiful village and home to legendary Gurkhas. From here, continue descending towards Landurk village for the night stay.

Day 6: Trek to Forest Camp (2,600m.) or Badal Danda (3,210m.), 5 km
From today onwards, you will join the Mardi Himal trekking route. The route gets a little off-beat and offers a stunning mountain panorama along the way. Most part of the route ascends through dense forests.

Day 7: Trek to High Camp, 8.5 km
It is going to be a fabulous walk today. Western Himalayan Mountains like Tare Kang, Annapurna South, Hiunculi, Gangapura, and many others decorate the route with their mighty presence. You will be trekking along the Mardi Himal ridge above the tree line. Further, follow grassy slopes and reach High Camp.

Day 8: Hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp and trek to Low Camp (3,050m.)
Today, you are going to see a gorgeous sunrise from Mardi Himal Base Camp. Firstly, steeply ascend along the ridge to the base camp of Mardi Himal. The trail then goes through grassy slopes and crosses a couple of steep sections.
You may come across dope (a crossbreed of cow and yak) while walking. Likewise, animals, such as goats and sheep are also seen grazing in the surrounding area. Upon reaching the Mardi Himal Base Camp, you get to see sensational landscapes and mountain panorama. After spending some time here, you will trek back to Low Camp following the same path.

Day 9: Trek to Dhampus (1,650m.) and drive to Pokhara, 25.5 km
Today, the trail leads you to the lovely Dhampus village. From here, you get to see fantastic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna range, and Fishtail. You will then drive to Pokhara. Spend the evening strolling on the bustling Lakeside Market.

Day 10: Drive to Chitwan National park
From Pokhara, we will drive to Chitwan National Park. The drive will be smooth and offers superb views of rolling lush green hills, terraced fields, waterfalls, and rivers. Upon reaching Chitwan, we will move to our hotel and unpack. Later in the evening, you will visit the indigenous Tharu village. The locals will welcome you with their traditional stick dance, intriguing costume, and delicious food.

Day 11: Full day national park activities
Wake up early and go canoeing. You will then go on bird watching and jeep safari. If you are lucky, you may get to see a royal Bengal tiger, black bear, and other animals like one-horned rhino, deer, peacock, etc during the safari. Later, you will be visiting the elephant breeding center and bath with elephants if you wish.

Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu
Chitwan to Kathmandu drive is long and scenic. The drive offers stunning landscapes and views of green hills, rivers, & waterfalls. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we will move you to the hotel. In the evening, explore the vibrant streets of Thamel and enjoy a farewell dinner organized by the company.

Day 13:Departure from Kathmandu
Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive or to commence any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you’ll be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.
