Kailsah with a height of 6714 meters is one of Tibet’s most popular mountain peaks. It is also known as Tise, Kailash and Kyang Rinpoche (Jewel of the Snows). Kailash is sacred to the Hindus, the Buddhists, the Jains and the Bonpos, considered the center of the physical and metaphysical universe.
You will have two full days of excursions with our Tibetan representative after you arrive at the airport. Our Tibetan representative will greet you at the airport. We will experience Tibetan culture through our senses, we will have the opportunity to learn about its history and reality. After the excursion to Lhasa, we start our journey to Mt. Kailash and Manasarovar lake via Gynatse, Shigatse, Sakya Monastery. As usual, “Lhasa to Mt. “Kailash Tour” comprises a three-day circumambulation around the holy Mount Kailash. The tour ends at Zhang-Mu.The trail extends from 2,745m to 4,880m. A hike to a maximum altitude of about 5600m can be done on the hike.
